My First Childbirth Class

WOW! I have been waiting for MONTHS to write this title. I am all the emotions writing this. I have been planning to d this for a long time. Someday, it will be a getaway for couples, but for now, it'll be a three-day course over Google Hangouts!

August 21 at 7:30 pm We will cover pregnancy on the first day!

Pregnancy is so overwhelming! No one tells you this, all the moms around you seem to have it all together and know everything. While I don't know everything, I can give you a good head start. I will cover what God designed for birth, nutrition, care providers and support during labor, complications, prep for labor, and how to get the whole picture.

So, if you feel lost and overwhelmed with all the choices, this class is for you!

August 22 at 7:30 pm is all about labor!

This is the one I am most excited about... labor and birth is where I NERD out and my husband is tired of listening to it, so it will be a nice break for him. You never know what is going to happen during labor and there is always a lot of fear, or at least uncertainty surrounding it. But I think after this class you feel a little more confident about it or know what you want to learn more about!

We will start out with a body scan, so you will want to be on time! The body scan will come from Mindful Birthing by Nancy Bardacke. Then we will continue with induction, complications, C-sections, preeclampsia, labor phases, and what to expect.

August 23 at 7:30 pm is all about postpartum!

Postpartum hits you hard and fast. It is looked over a lot by new moms, so I hope you will join me for this one! I for one, did not research this part like I should've. I hope that I can help you prepare for this beautiful but hard transition into motherhood. We will talk about what to expect, the Golden Hour, baby testing/procedures, premature babies, breastfeeding, postpartum hemorrhage, postpartum emotions, when to ask for help, how to nurture yourself, the first six weeks, what to buy, and basic baby care.

I will ask for an honest review at the end, so it's not totally free!
